While Ben Simmons' fantasy output isn't abnormally higher when his Philadelphia 76ers teammate Joel Embiid is out, it is evident that he becomes a much more integral part of the offense. Simmons' scoring jumps from 16.5 to 21.5 per game when Embiid is out, and with it his per-game DraftKings average jumps by 3.0 points to 46.2 per game.

Tonight Simmons and the Sixers are in a solid position to pour on the fake basketball points in an away matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans, who will be playing with Anthony Davis tonight (at least for two minutes to prove that they aren't disobeying the league). The game's total is set at a remarkable 239.5 points, one of the highest total's the league has seen this season (only nine other games this year have seen a total at least this high).

That means Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Jimmy Butler will all have the opportunity to go off, and Simmons is the most likely to do so, according to our models. We currently have him projected for 43.8 DraftKings points with upside for 69.2.
