The Philadelphia 76ers will be without All-Star center Joel Embiid for at least the next week. With players like Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Jimmy Butler to shore things up while he's gone, the team should still be in pretty good shape as they march towards an Eastern Conference playoff berth.

Butler, who joined the team in November after a tumultuous beginning to the season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, has already proven that he can thrive when Embiid is out. He's played three games without Embiid while with the Sixers, averaging 42.8 DraftKings points, which is 7.9 more than he has averaged when Embiid has played.

He did have an 18.75-DraftKings-point dud against the Blazers thrown in there, but also scored 46.5 and 63.0 DraftKings points against the Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons, respectively. Our models are showing that he's much more likely to have a game like the latter two than the former. We project him for 39.6 DraftKings points tonight, a would-be return of 5.5 points per $1,000.
