With both Tyreke Evans and Victor Oladipo out, the Indiana Pacers have had to be creative to find another starter at shooting guards. Their decision? To shift Edmond Sumner -- who had previously played no more than five minutes and four seconds in a game -- into the starting five.

Sumner has actually been in the starting lineup for each of the Pacers' past two games, and as you'd expect there has been a steep learning curve. He is a combined 3-for-17 (ouch) from the field and has just nine points.

His saving grace, however, has been on defense, where his four steals and two blocks across two games has resulted in him being able to achieve a value of at least 5.0 FanDuel points per $1,000 in both starts.

With Evans not playing for the next few games, Sumner will likely get a chance for a few more starts. At minimum salary, he's worth a look as a punt.
