3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/30/19

A good way to find value in daily fantasy basketball is, of course, to find players who might be getting spot starts. One player who might have that opportunity -- not yet guaranteed -- tonight is Miami Heat guard Wayne Ellington.

Heat point guard Tyler Johnson missed the team's game on Sunday with a calf injury, and he's questionable for tonight's game against the Chicago Bulls. If he can't go, then Ellington -- who got the starting nod on Sunday -- has a strong chance to enter the starting five again.

Ellington got 31 minutes of run during Sunday's 106-97 win over the Knicks, finishing with 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting (4-of-11 from deep). He has eight starts with at least 30 minutes of run this season, finishing with more than 20.0 DraftKings points in six of those and tallying no fewer than 16.0.

Continue to check Tyler Johnson's status here on numberFire throughout the day. If he's ruled out, then Ellington is well worth a roster spot, especially if he gets the starting nod.
