Patrick Beverley, PG/SG, Los Angeles Clippers

DraftKings Price: $4,500

Patrick Beverley's venture into $5,000-plus salary cap territory certainly didn't last long. The Los Angeles Clippers guard's price quickly jumped from $3,900 to $5,000 after two huge games against the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks a week ago, but two subsequent sub-par performances have seen that number fall again to $4,500, despite the veteran coming off a 47.5-DraftKings-point effort against the Sacramento Kings last night.

Beverley has benefited from the absence of Danilo Gallinari. With the Clips forward out, coach Doc Rivers has shifted to a smaller lineup, allowing Beverley to amass 34 or more minutes in five straight games. He has scored 35-plus DraftKings points in three of the five games, and he has an excellent chance of repeating that type of performance tonight (assuming that Gallinari sits for one more game).

The Clippers are hosting the Atlanta Hawks, a fantasy-friendly opponent if there ever was one. The Hawks are giving up 117.5 points per game -- tops in the league -- and are giving up the most DraftKings points per game to both guard positions.

You should remain reluctant on Beverley in cash games, but his upside against this opponent -- and at this salary -- cannot be ignored for tournament purposes. Teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($3,800) presents another solid option if you want to take a different route in the same game.
