3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 1/23/19

Nikola Vucevic hasn't been showing off much of his upside recently, but he did come through with 54.8 FanDuel points in his last outing. We've also seen this season that he has no shortage of upside, with two 70-plus FanDuel point games under his belt.

That upside is no surprise when you consider that he ranks a stellar eighth in the NBA with an average of 1.44 FanDuel points per minute. He just happens to see his minutes reduced in blowouts frequently enough to drive down his per-game averages.

In 8 of his last 20 games, the Orlando Magic have finished with margins of victory of 15 points or more. In those eight games, Vucevic is averaging only 28.1 minutes per game, compared 33.5 per game in the other 12. If we just look at games decided by fewer than 10 points, that jumps to 34.1 minutes per game.

He should see plenty of run tonight, with the Magic sitting as six-point underdogs against the Brooklyn Nets. And that run should be especially valuable against a Nets team that allows the NBA's third-most fantasy points per minute to opposing centers.
