3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 11/19/18

You can, of course, go much cheaper than the $5,000 range when fishing for value, but you don't always have to find that minimum-priced player in order to build a great team. Brook Lopez makes one over-$5K value proposition, and San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay makes another.

Gay's 2017-18 season was a dramatic drop-off from his career norms, but sometimes people forget the guy was coming back from an Achilles injury, which isn't exactly the easiest injury to recover from in a sport that requires a lot of jumping. Another year removed from that surgery, and Rudy Gay has started to become his old reliable self.

His 14.4 points per game are 2.9 more than last year. His 7.5 rebounds per game are on pace to set a new career high. And his shooting has been lights out. He is shooting 51.6% from the field (a career high), which is bolstered by his insane 55.6% rate from deep. That easily leads the league, and it's 16% higher than his previous career best of 39.6% set in the 2010-11 season.

We can certainly expect some regression in that 3-point percentage, but the fact of the matter is Rudy is back. He is averaging 29.7 DraftKings points per game this season, and it's somewhat perplexing that his price is still hovering at just $5,300. Take advantage while you can.
