Minutes are at the heart of daily fantasy basketball. Efficiency is nice, but without minutes, that means nothing. Efficiency is also far more variable than playing time on a game-by-game basis.

With that being the case, a high-volume, low-efficiency player tends to offer a very solid floor as a value option, and that's what we get with Justin Holiday.

His ceiling is pretty underwhelming. He played 72 games last season and topped 40 DraftKings points only 3 times. He has never averaged even 0.80 DraftKings points per minute in a season, and averaged 0.76 last year. But his playing time is almost always there.

In his 72 games in the 2017-18 season, Holiday played at least 36 minutes on 23 occasions. Like Payne, his minutes were down as the Bulls kicked off this year with a blowout loss, but his last two games saw him right back to what we have come to expect, notching 37.6 and 37.0, earning him 34.5 and 23.0 DraftKings points.

Even at his low-efficiency pace from last season, playing 36-plus minutes makes him a safe bet to return solid value while he's priced down this low.
