Nemanja Bjelica, SF/PF, Sacramento Kings

DraftKings Price: $4,600

Nemanja Bjelica had quite the offseason. But judging by his Game 1 results, the chaos that ensued was likely worth it.

Bjelica had initially signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers back in early July. He then backed out of that deal, intending to play in Europe. If that wasn't crazy enough, he signed a three-year, $20.5 million contract with the Sacramento Kings. And that all happened within a span of 15 days.

Nearly three months have passed since that ordeal, and Bjelica, the Kings, and fantasy owners are better for it. Likely to be a bench player on the Sixers, Bjelica is Sacramento's starting power forward to begin the eyar. In that role on Wednesday, he hit 8-of-12 field goals for 18 points, grabbed 8 boards, and added 2 assists and a steal, returning 34.0 DraftKings points at a salary of just $4,200.

His price got a minor salary bump to $4,600 tonight heading into a matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans. The game has a total of 232.0 this evening, which is by far the highest on the slate, so he'll likely have every opportunity to continue his fast start.

Our models project him for 21.1 DraftKings points, though we do have his upside at a whopping 43.5. The end result will likely fall somewhere in the middle, which should help Bjelica return a value of at least 5.0 DraftKings points per $1,000.
