3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 3/28/18

The Portland Trail Blazers will be without Damian Lillard tonight, meaning C.J. McCollum will be thrust into a starring role against the Memphis Grizzlies. Normally, McCollum would be a lock-and-load play at this price tag with Lillard sitting, but the pace-down matchup on the back end of a back-to-back is somewhat troubling.

Our projections still love McCollum, though, listing him as the strongest per-dollar value of any player priced above $7,000. That shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, given McCollum's numbers without Lillard this season. His usage rate (34.1%) is through the roof without Lillard, while his DraftKings points per minute are also up by 0.1. He's averaged 42.6 DraftKings points in 12 games without Lillard over the past two seasons, which is more than enough at a price tag that requires him to reach 37.5 DraftKings points for value.

The game script is gross, but on a slate with plenty of blowout potential, McCollum still stands out as one of the strongest per-dollar studs on the slate. Feel comfortable paying up for him in any format.
