Chris Paul, PG, Houston Rockets

Price: $8,300

Chris Paul obviously doesn't offer the upside of the guys priced $3,000 above him, but he does stand out as the most appealing play in that second tier of studs.

As I outlined for Harden, the Spurs haven't been the kind of nightmare matchup recently that they were earlier in the season, and while Paul flopped in his last game against San Antonio, he did torch them for 65.8 FanDuel points in their first meeting of the year.

CP3 hasn't flashed that kind of upside in a while, but he has been producing some consistently solid numbers, topping 36 fantasy points in 10 of his last 15 games and averaging 38.5 per game in that stretch. That's not far off 5-times value on today's salary, and on a short slate, one that's pretty lacking in mid- and high-priced options, that floor is enough to make Paul a very strong play.
