Marc Gasol, C, Memphis Grizzlies

DraftKings Salary: $8,300

If looking for a pivot off Howard, Marc Gasol should carry far less ownership, is considerably cheaper, and has a similarly strong matchup. While the Hawks have allowed the fourth-most DraftKings points to opposing centers, the Indiana Pacers have actually given up the second-most.

Gasol did a lot of that damage himself by dropping a 70-burger the last time he faced this Indiana squad. His range was a real problem for Myles Turner, who prefers to hover around the basket and pile up blocks. Gasol stretched the floor and often found himself open for jumpers from both the mid-range and beyond the arc. He knocked down three deep balls in that game and finished with a season-high 35 points.

He's not a cash-game option, though, even in a great spot like this. There is a lot to like at center today, and he has displayed a wide range of outcomes this season. However, that type of variance is what makes him attractive in tournaments. Gasol has gone for 45-plus DraftKings points in 27% of his games and has actually hit five- and six-times value at his price more frequently than any of the other top-priced bigs (Joel Embiid, Howard, or Hassan Whiteside). Those three have more of a reputation for being high-upside plays, but do not underestimate Gasol's ceiling in this spot.
