He has an excellent opportunity to keep things rolling tonight, as the Boston Celtics face a Denver Nuggets squad that has struggled agaisnt opposing point guards all season. They currently rank ninth against the position, and they gave up 51.25 DraftKings points to Irving the last time they met up.

There may be higher upside options in his price range, but you'll be hard pressed to find a safer cash game option than Irving. Irving has topped 30 DraftKings points in 20-straight games -- a level of consistency that only Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid can also boast.

His ownership is going to be high, but don't let that keep you off of Irving in cash games. You could look to pivot to the likes of Victor Oladipo ($9,300) or Kemba Walker ($8,000) in tournaments, but Irving stands out as the optimal stud guard on this slate.
