3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/9/18

Delon Wright ($4,500) and Shabazz Napier ($5,400) are going to be two of the most popular options on the slate by filling in for Kyle Lowry and Damian Lillard. Everyone knows to target them today at their price tags. So, instead, lets focus on three underpriced dudes who may go a bit under the radar.

De'Aaron Fox should not go under the radar on a four-game slate, but with the plethora of guard options, he just might. In addition to Wright and Napier, Russell Westbrook, C.J. McCollum, and Lonzo Ball all should see their fair share of ownership. There are only four possible spots available for guards on DraftKings, so it is fair to say that Fox's ownership will likely be lower than it ordinarily would be.

With the Sacramento Kings playing quite shorthanded in their backcourt recently, Fox has seen extended playing time, averaging 32.7 minutes and 30.3 DraftKings points over his past three games. Sacramento will still be without Frank Mason, while George Hill has missed the past three games due to the birth of his child and could again sit out for personal reasons. If we get word on that prior to lineup lock, Fox becomes a very strong play with a guaranteed 30-plus minutes in a pace-up game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

He'd still rank behind both Wright and Napier in terms of cash-game worthiness but is a fine tournament pivot off the chalk.
