Anthony Davis, PF/C, New Orleans Pelicans

DraftKings Salary: $9,700

Anthony Davis comes into this one egregiously underpriced, as his DraftKings salary is a full $1,200 lower than his FanDuel price tag, and is the second-lowest it has been all season. He needs 48.5 DraftKings points to reach value, which he has accomplished in 83% of the games in which he's played at least 35 minutes (he's averaging 38.5 minutes over his past 10 days). Even with a dud his last time out, Davis is still averaging 52.8 DraftKings points over his past five games.

He should also benefit from a matchup against the Detroit Pistons, who he has terrorized over his career. Davis has an absurd 70.3 DraftKings point average in his three most-recent meetings with Detroit, who simply does not have the personnel to defend him. If healthy, Andre Drummond will defend DeMarcus Cousins, and if not, it will likely be a combination of Boban Marjanovic and Eric Moreland. This leaves players like Tobias Harris and Anthony Tolliver to attempt to slow down Davis. They have not had much success in the past, and given the fact that Detroit has surrendured the eighth-most DraftKings points per game to power forwards, they probably won't fare any better today.

You probably shouldn't expect another 70 DraftKings points from Davis, but the 48.5 points he needs to reach value certainly seem within reach. He is a viable play in any format at this price point.
