Kristaps Porzingis, PF/C, New York Knicks

DraftKings Salary: $8,900

Kristaps Porzingis had a "down" game (36.25 DraftKings points) his last time out, which, combined with a matchup against the Utah Jazz, dropped his price to the lowest it has been in nearly two weeks. His salary is now at a point which requires just 44.5 DraftKings points to reach value. That's below his season average and is a mark he has topped in 8 of 12 games.

If Porzingis was priced down in a league-average home matchup in which the New York Knicks were actually favored, he'd be on everyone's radar, right? That would appear to be the exact situation in which we find ourselves today, as this is not the Utah team we've learned to avoid at all costs in daily fantasy in recent years.

Utah will also be without the services of Rudy Gobert, who is arguably the most impactful single defensive player in the league. In 269 minutes with Gobert off the floor, their defensive efficiency has fallen to 107.2 (25th in the league), while their rebounding rate sits at just 47.5%, the sixth-lowest in the league. In their two games without Gobert, they've faced the Brooklyn Nets, who don't really have any interior presence, and the Minnesota Timberwolves, whose bigs had their way against Utah. Karl-Anthony Towns posted 49.3 DraftKings points on 10-of-15 shooting while Taj Gibson put up 32.5 on 5-of-8 shooting.

On such a large slate, Porzingis is probably better reserved as a tournament-type player. However, both he and Enes Kanter ($6,600) will be intriguing and underappreciated options in this matchup.
