3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 11/10/17

Kemba Walker, PG, Charlotte Hornets

DraftKings Salary: $7,000

There seems to be some sense that Kemba Walker has struggled this season, as his price is now down to just $7,000 -- the lowest it has been. In reality, Walker has been excellent outside of a few bad spots. He predictably struggled against the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs, two of the toughest matchups available for a point guard. He also posted a dud in a blowout loss against Minnesota Timberwolves. Even with those performances, his DraftKings average is 37.3 points, which is plenty at this price.

The Boston Celtics have one of the league's strongest defenses, but Kyrie Irving is the clear weak spot. He ranked 69th among 79 qualified point guards in defensive real plus-minus last season and had no answer to Walker, who averaged 28 actual points on 52.6% shooting in four games against Irving.

If Al Horford ends up sitting, that will also help Walker, as Aron Baynes is nowhere near as mobile and does not defend the pick and roll as well. No player is more aggressive in looking for their shot out of the pick and roll than Walker, who could use Dwight Howard to exploit an Irving-Baynes defensive combination. He is a strong play in all formats at this price.
