With the recent success of rookie Donovan Mitchell, you might be thinking it's crazy that Rodney Hood is our top point-per-dollar value at shooting guard. However, there's good reason for optimism with the Utah Jazz guard tonight.

Over his last two games, Hood has played 35 and 25 minutes, respectively. But that doesn't speak to the Jazz getting blown out on Sunday in Houston. If not for the blowout, Hood could've seen somewhere around 30-to-35 minutes. So the minutes should be there, and given the circumstances of tonight's matchup the production should as well.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been ruled out on Tuesday to give him a rest day. With him on the court, the 76ers limit their opponents to 97.8 points per 100 possessions, but with Embiid off, that number jumps to 109.9 points per 100. So it follows that Vegas has Hood and the slow-paced Jazz pegged for an implied total of 106.25 points, well above their season average of 99.3.
