Jusuf Nurkic, C, Portland Trail Blazers

DraftKings Salary: $5,900

Priced at nearly $6,000, Jusuf Nurkic isn't your typical "value play." However, considering that he began the season at $7,500, his current price tag is certainly a value.

Nurkic had a disappointing start to the season, dealing with poor shooting and foul trouble, but he bounced back in a big way last night against the Utah Jazz, posting 44.25 DraftKings points in what is considered the toughest matchup for opposing bigs. His 19 real-life points were a season high, as was his 50% shooting percentage from the field. Nurkic shot 50.8% from the floor last season while averaging 37.9 DK points per game in his time with the Portland Trail Blazers, so his 41.8% shooting clip and 28.5 DK average so far this year are surprising marks, to say the least.

He will look to build off of last night's successful performance tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers. Los Angeles has improved their defense and rebounding this season, but they are still weak against opposing centers. Starting center Brook Lopez ranked dead last in rebounding rate and 50th in defensive real plus-minus among 69 qualified centers last season. As long as he can stay out of foul trouble, Nurkic could post another strong outing tonight.
