Jerian Grant, PG, Chicago Bulls

FanDuel Price: $1,500
Projected FanDuel Points: 19.9
Projected FanDuel Value: 13.28

Here is your free square of the night. It seems bizarre that Jerian Grant would ever be considered a must-play, but with FanDuel lowering their minimum salary by $2,000, Grant needs to score just 7.5 FanDuel points to reach five-times his salary-implied value.

With Rajon Rondo out indefinitely, Grant will step into the starting role for the Chicago Bulls. He has shown the ability to post big numbers, albeit against weak opponents, averaging 34 FanDuel points over a three-game stretch earlier this month. At his current salary, that comes out to 22.7-times his salary-implied value. Not bad.

Game script is in his favor in this one as well, as the Bulls return to Chicago for this one and are the only team other than OKC that is expected to outscore their season scoring average. As if there weren't already enough reasons to play him, Grant will likely be guarded by Isaiah Thomas, who ranked last among 468 players in defensive real plus-minus this season.

I'm not saying you have to play Grant tonight. If you're part of #TeamGameTheory, then you can entertain the idea of fading a $1,500-priced starting point guard in a great spot. Our projections strongly disagree with this strategy though, listing Grant as the best value on the slate by a wide margin. He'll be the highest-owned player on the slate, and for good reason.
