19. Jerry West, 1969

Win Shares: 4.31

In the 1968-69 playoffs, Jerry West became the first ever awardee for the NBA Finals MVP. To this day, he is still the only player to maintain that honor from the losing side, after falling in seven games to the Boston Celtics.

Maybe it was somewhat of a reward for West's ridiculous postseason run. The Hall of Fame guard averaged 30.9 points, 7.5 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 42.1 minutes per game across 18 total contests. The man we now know as the logo averaged .274 win shares per 48 minutes as he tallied 3.2 of his win shares from the offensive end.
