20. LeBron James, 2014

Win Shares: 4.30

After two straight championships, LeBron James and the Miami Heat's Big Three were looking to make it a three-peat in South Beach. But, thanks to the San Antonio Spurs, that never happened.

Although it was easy to do, there was no reason to place any piece of blame on James for the team's shortcomings. In 20 games and an average of 38.2 minutes, LeBron put up 27.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest. He shot 56.5% from the field and a career-best 40.7% from three-point land all the while attaining a player efficiency rating (PER) of 31.1 -- his best mark in his four years in Miami.
