Jeff Teague, PG, Indiana Pacers

FanDuel Price: $7,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Point guard always seems to be loaded, and that is the case once again on tonight's 11-game slate. In what is just a so-so on-paper matchup against the Toronto Raptors, Jeff Teague isn't likely to be a chalky option.

Why You Should Use Him:

Teague is always prone to inconsistency, as evidenced by the performances of 11.7 and 26.4 FanDuel points in his last 5 games. However, his price has fallen to a point where his upside makes him worth a look in tournaments any time he is in a decent matchup.

Five of Teague's past eight games have went for 37-plus FanDuel points, to speak to that upside. According to our Floor/Ceiling tool, Teague has some of the best points-per-dollar upside on the slate. Among point guards priced above $5,500, only Kemba Walker has a higher "value" rating than Teague.

A matchup against Toronto's fill-in point guard, Cory Joseph, should help Teague access that upside, as Joseph is not near the defender Kyle Lowry is. In fact, Joseph ranks 80th among 89 qualified point guards in defensive real plus-minus this season.

There are enough other viable options at point guard that you don't have to look to Teague in cash games. However, his volatility actually works to our advantage for tournaments, as he has the ability to go off at low ownership on any given night.
