Myles Turner, C, Indiana Pacers

FanDuel Price: $6,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

At the top end of the center position, Karl-Anthony Towns draws an exploitable matchup against the Blazers, while Marc Gasol faces off against the hapless defense of the Brooklyn Nets. Just below them, we find Rudy Gobert and DeAndre Jordan, both of whom are in plus-matchups.

The main factor likely to hold Myles Turner's ownership in check is Jusuf Nurkic, who is averaging 34.5 FanDuel points over his past five games and is $500 cheaper than Turner, who is coming off of a five-point, five-rebound game.

Why You Should Use Him:

Turner had been playing well prior to his dud against the Atlanta Hawks, topping 30 FanDuel points in five of the previous eight games. That 30-plus FanDuel point upside is why we target Turner, though. According to our Floor/Ceiling tool, no center priced above $6,000 on this slate has a higher ceiling per dollar than Turner.

Tonight's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets should help him realize his massive ceiling, as it did last time they met, when he dropped 40.4 FanDuel points. Charlotte ranks 17th in the league in rebounding rate, although they will be shorthanded in the frontcourt with Frank Kaminsky out, leaving Cody Zeller, whose 13.3% rebounding rate ranks 42nd among centers, to absorb most of the minutes at center.

While they have a passable rebounding rate, they have struggled on the offensive glass, posting the fourth-worst offensive rebounding rate. Turner has been much more involved on the defensive glass than the offensive 939th in defensive rebounding rate and 52nd on offense). He should have no trouble collecting boards against a Charlotte team that doesn't crash the offensive glass.

The Hornets have also allowed opponents to post the second-most blocks per game (5.8) against them, which is an area Turner excels -- he ranks third in the league with 2.1 blocks per game.

Turner's frustrating inconsistency makes him a risky cash-game option, but he has plenty of upside against the Hornets. He is a terrific risk-reward tournament option.
