Tim Hardaway Jr., SG, Atlanta Hawks

FanDuel Price: $5,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There are several appealing shooting guard options tonight, including Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nicolas Batum, C.J. McCollum, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker.

The player most likely to keep Tim Hardaway Jr.'s ownership down, though, is Will Barton. Barton has played well in an expanded role for the banged-up Denver Nuggets and is just $100 more than Hardaway.

Why You Should Use Him:

Hardaway continued his recent hot streak on Friday night, dropping 28 points on the Sacramento Kings. With that performance, his FanDuel average over his last five games sits at 31.8 points, with three performances of at least 33 FanDuel points.

He'll look to stay hot against the Portland Trail Blazers -- they've been average against shooting guards on paper this year, but have some of the worst individual defenders at the position in the league. With Evan Turner on the shelf, Portland's primary shooting guard options are McCollum and Allen Crabbe, who rank 78th and 96th, respectively, among shooting guards in defensive real plus-minus.

Portland has also really struggled to defend the three-point line this season, allowing opponents to shoot 38.1% from beyond the arc, which is the third-highest mark in the league. Hardaway is averaging 2.5 made threes per game in February, as well as a 39.5% mark from downtown.

Hardaway's scoring dependent ways always make him a risky option in cash formats but tonight's matchup offers him a real chance to stay hot. That makes him an excellent salary-saving option in tournaments.
