Dwight Powell, Dallas Mavericks

At this time, the Dallas Mavericks are in the best position to tank in the Western Conference. They have only 11 wins and are seven games removed from the eighth seed. They've made up some ground recently with players returning to health, but even if they make the playoffs, there's no way they can win a seven-game series.

The smart choice would be to maintain their spot among the last four or five teams in the league. Mark Cuban and company are starving for young talent. To do so, look for them to rest Dirk Nowitzki's aging legs and focus on 2017.

Dwight Powell would be the main beneficiary of a Dirk shutdown. After all, he has been in stretches a year ago and early on in 2016. At age 25, he'll also need to gain valuable experience if the Mavs want him to contribute in the near future.

Ranked 97th in Yahoo's rankings, Powell has shown that he can contribute for his team and yours while playing just over 20 minutes per game. If given a 36-minute average, Powell would pour in 13.5 points (on 53.8% shooting) with 8.8 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block.

On those numbers and Powell's efficiency from the line (76.6%), he's the 58th ranked player in NBA fantasy. Like Nance, when you punt three-pointers, Powell's value balloons to 29th overall.
