7. David Robinson

At 7'1", David Robinson is only one of two big men to make the list. And, at his height and build, he wasn't commonly thought of as a versatile big. If you look at his stats, however, they tell a different story.

In his fifth season in the league with the San Antonio Spurs, The Admiral averaged 29.8 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per contest -- as you would imagine for a seven-foot Hall of Famer. At the same time, Robinson racked up 4.8 assists and 1.7 steals, like some kind of two-way guard stuck in a center's body.

All that amounts to a 10.9 BPM, the best of his career and the best in the Association in the 1973-74 campaign.
