Red Sox's Chris Sale (shoulder) resumes throwing program
Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale (shoulder) resumed a throwing program Monday.
Sala was limited to only one start over the last month due to inflammation in his pitching shoulder. The 29-year-old left-hander is still likely multiple weeks away from returning to the Red Sox's rotation.
Sale was averaging 49.5 FanDuel points per start before the injury, going 12-4 in 23 outings, while posting a 1.97 ERA and 0.85 WHIP with 219 strikeouts across 146 innings.
