Mets' Kevin Plawecki goes 4-for-4 with a double, triple, and two walks
New York Mets catcher Kevin Plawecki had a monster day at the plate on Thursday afternoon, going 4-for-4 with a double, triple, two walks, three runs, and three RBI. He will deservedly get to rest during Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader.
He wasn't the only Met with a huge day, as New York went on to beat the Phillies 24-4. Devin Mesoraco will start behind the plate on Thursday night.
With this performance, Plawecki's OBP increased 22 points, from .326 to .348.
