Cincinnati Reds outfielder Preston Tucker (sore) is out of Tuesday's lineup against the New York Mets.
Tucker left Monday's series opener early after being hit by a Noah Syndergaard offering. He received X-rays but remains "very sore," according to Reds beat reporter John Fay, and will undergo additional examinations. Phillip Ervin has drawn the start in left field on Tuesday.
