Dodgers place Ross Stripling (toe) on the 10-day DL
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ross Stripling (toe) has been placed on the 10-day DL.
Stripling has been dealing with the toe ailment for some time but is finally getting the time to rest. He is expected to be back after 10-12 days, meaning he will miss just a start or two. The Dodgers promoted Dylan Floro from Triple-A in a corresponding move.
Stripling owns a sterling 2.85 xFIP with 119 strikeouts over a career-high 104 innings pitched (16 starts) this season.
