JJ Bleday joining Athletics bench Monday afternoon
Oakland Athletics outfielder JJ Bleday is not in the lineup for Monday afternoon's series opener against left-hander Carlos Rodon and the New York Yankees.
What It Means:
The left-handed hitting Bleday will take a seat against a southpaw. Esteury Ruiz will replace Bleday in center field and bat leadoff. Abraham Toro will move down from the top of the lineup and hit fifth.
