Matt Duffy scratched from Rays lineup Friday due to back spasms, Adeiny Hechavarria draws start
Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Matt Duffy has been scratched from Friday's lineup against the Miami Marlins due to back spasms.
Duffy was also scratched from the last game before the All-Star break due to an ankle issue but he managed to record a hit, steal a base, and score a run off the bench. Daniel Robertson will fill the void at the hot corner and Adeiny Hechavarria has drawn the start at shortstop for Tampa Bay.
Duffy averaged 8.8 FanDuel points in 80 games during the first half, while slashing .317/.371/.413 with 4 home runs, 7 steals, 27 RBI, and 33 runs scored across 340 plate appearances.
