Yonder Alonso heads to the bench Saturday in Cleveland
Cleveland Indians first baseman Yonder Alonso is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the New York Yankees.
Alonso will sit with lefty C.C. Sabathia going for the Yankees. Edwin Encarnacion will move to first base with Francisco Mejia entering as the club's designated hitter.
Sporting a .331 wOBA, Alonso is projected for 11 homers, 33 RBI and a .262 batting average the rest of the season.
