Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Matt Duffy is playing designated hitter and batting third on Tuesday versus the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Duffy will handle DH duties for only the second time in his career and also move up from the six-hole as the Rays open up a home set against Red Sox left-hander Chris Sale. Christian Arroyo will cover the hot corner for Tampa Bay.
