Blue Jays put Aledmys Diaz (ankle) on 10-day disabled list
Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Aledmys Diaz has been put on the disabled list with an ankle injury.
What It Means:
Diaz hurt his ankle trying to leg out an infield single on Sunday, and it looks like he'll need an extended absence. Lourdes Gurriel is taking over at shortstop Tuesday and hitting out of the eighth spot against lefty James Paxton.
Diaz is averaging 7.8 FanDuel points per game this season.
