Jon Gray confirmed as Rockies' starter for Opening Day
Colorado Rockies pitcher Jon Gray will start Opening Day against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday.
Tyler Anderson and German Marquez will follow up Gray for the Rockies' first series of the year in Arizona. The 26-year right-hander spun a 3.67 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with 112 strikeouts while going 10-4 across 20 starts and 110 1/3 innings last season.
