Dodgers' Corey Seager considered 'day-to-day' with lower back sprain
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is "day-to-day", according to the Los Angeles Times' Andy McCullough.
McCullough is also reporting that Seager received an epidural for his back sprain, which is more than likely to keep him out of the entire NLCS. Manager Dave Roberts said that if Seager was healthy enough to play by Game 3, he would have been on the roster. Knowing that, the only way that Seager could play in the final two games would be if the Dodgers place someone on the disabled list to clear up a spot. For now, Charlie Culberson will start at short with Chris Taylor and Kike Hernandez also in play for a start or two.
In 145 games, Seager ranked 4th on the team with a 1.65 nERD this season. That's a far cry from his mark of 2.31 in 2016, but the Dodgers will miss his presence all the same.
