Corey Seager (back) not on Dodgers' NLCS roster
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is off the team's playoff roster, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale.
As he's dealt with a sore back, Seager has failed to work out between the end of the NLDS and beginning of the NLCS. Surprisingly, though, he'll be left off the active roster while Charlie Culberson takes his spot as a member of the Dodgers' infield crew.
Seager is hitting 3-for-11 with 1 home run, 2 RBI and a stolen base in 15 plate appearances this postseason. In 19 games and 79 plate appearances, the All-Star shortstop is slashing .211/.291/.352 with 2 dingers and 6 RBI in his postseason career.
