Raisel Iglesias (shoulder fatigue) removed from Reds' rotation
Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Raisel Iglesias was taken out of the Reds' starting rotation with right shoulder fatigue.
This sounds like an innings limit, more than anything, for the Reds' rookie. "We're trying to make an evaluation of what's the best way to handle his workload the rest of the year," said Cincinnati manager Bryan Price.
Iglesias, a 25-year-old rookie from Cuba, was very good as a starter, sporting a 3.28 xFIP and fanning 104 hitters over 95 1/3 innings. The xFIP clip ranks 23rd among pitchers who have thrown at least 90 innings. Iglesias loses all fantasy value in 2015 with the move, but he could be a draft day bargain in 2016.
