Indians activate Andrew Miller (knee) from 10-day DL
The Cleveland Indians activated reliever Andrew Miller from the club's 10-day disabled list.
After missing roughly four weeks with patellar tendinits, Miller will be back in the bullpen on Thursday as the Indians play host to the Kansas City Royals. It's quite possible that manager Terry Francona may get him out there tonight just to get him back into the swing of things. That may especially be the case if the Indians need someone to lock down their 22nd consecutive win.
In 48 appearances, Miller has put together a 4-3 record with 21 holds and 2 saves across 54 2/3 innings for Cleveland. We project him for a 1-0 record, 4 saves and a 0.81 WHIP in 7-plus innings of work the rest of the way this season.
