Indians' Andrew Miller (knee) could be activated on Thursday
Cleveland Indians pitcher Andrew Miller could make his return to the team on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox.
According to MLB.com's Jordan Bastian, manager Terry Francona said that Miller will pitch on Thursday whether he's activated or not. In other words, he will either pitch a simulated game or pitch in the actual game.
Miller, who was placed on the disabled list on August 22nd, has a 1.65 ERA, 2.18 FIP and 1.37 nERD through 48 appearances. He's projected for a 1-0 record, 4 saves and a 2.54 ERA in 7-plus innings the rest of the way this season.
