Indians' Bradley Zimmer in the concussion protocol program

Cleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer is in MLB's concussion protocol program, according to manager Terry Francona.

What It Means:

Zimmer left Saturday's game in Detroit after attempting a diving catch, and has not played since. The team has not yet confirmed that Zimmer has a concussion, but they are naturally going to play it safe with him by putting him through the protocol. He's working out with the club on Monday, and could return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday.

Assuming he returns on Tuesday numberFire's models project Zimmer for 58 more plate appearances, 1 home run, 6 RBI, and a .255 batting average from here on out.
