Reds place Tucker Barnhart on paternity leave list
The Cincinnati Reds have placed catcher Tucker Barnhart on the club's paternity leave list.
What It Means:
Barnhart will be excused from the club for a few games as he joins his family and their new arrival. The Reds have called up Chad Wallach to serve as Stuart Turner's backup behind the plate.
When he returns to the team, we project Barnhart to rack up 19 more hits, 8 RBI and 8 runs over the remainder of the 2017 regular season.
