Kris Bryant homers, doubles as Cubs clobber Cincinnati
Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored in Monday's 15-5 destruction of the Cincinnati Reds.
Bryant hit a double and made a trip across home in the bottom of the first inning before adding a two-run dinger in the fourth frame. He also drew a walk for good measure. The 25-year-old sensation has hits in 11 straight games, including 14 of his last 15, a span in which he's gone 26-for-59 (.441) with 3 homers, 11 RBI, and 12 runs scored.
Over the remainder of the season, numberFire's models project Bryant to record a .303 batting average with 8 home runs, 27 RBI, 29 runs scored, and 3 steals in 182 plate appearances.
