Kevan Smith starting, batting cleanup Friday for White Sox
Chicago White Sox catcher Kevan Smith is starting on Friday against the Kansas City Royals.
Smith will catch right-hander Reynaldo Lopez and bat cleanup versus Royals southpaw Danny Duffy. He hasn't played since going 2-for-3 with a homer and 4 RBI on Tuesday. Omar Narvaez will be available off the bench.
numberFire's models project Smith to score only 5.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,300 on Friday, severely limiting his fantasy appeal, but he has been hot in August, going 7-for-17 (.412) with 2 home runs.
