Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw tied his career-high with 15 strikeouts as he threw a complete game in a 2-1 win over the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday night.
What It Means:
Kershaw has been absolutely dominant this season. His 11.64 strikeouts per nine ranks second in the majors, his 2.02 FIP and 2.04 xFIP are both good for first, and his 2.58 nERD is the second best mark among pitchers.
