Matt Kemp

Matt Kemp (hamstring) pulled from Atlanta's game on Friday

Atlanta Braves outfielder Matt Kemp left Friday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies early with a hamstring strain.

What It Means:

Kemp hit a shot off the wall but pulled up lame as he headed towards second base, in the bottom of the fourth. He limped off the field and was replaced in the lineup and field by Danny Santana. Considering his history of injury, Kemp could be sidelined awhile with his hamstring strain.

Kemp went 1-for-2 boosting his average to .290 on the season. He has posted a .341 wOBA with 14 home runs and a 21.4% strikeout rate through 370 plate appearances in 2017.
