Mitch Moreland takes a seat for first game of Red Sox' doubleheader
Boston Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland is not in the starting lineup on Sunday afternoon against the New York Yankees.
Facing off against left-hander CC Sabathia and after a 16-inning affair on Saturday night, Moreland will take a seat for the first game of the Sunday doubleheader. Sam Travis is at first base and hitting fifth.
Our models project Moreland for a .260 batting average, with 9 home runs and 31 RBI over 248 plate appearances remaining this season.
