Josh Hamilton (knee) takes batting practice
Josh Hamilton (knee) took batting practice on Friday.
The oft-injured Texas Ranger has been on the DL since August 20th. He is eligible to return on Monday if the team chooses, but they could wait until Tuesday's roster expansion so they don't have to make a corresponding roster move.
Anything Hamilton gives fantasy owners at this point will be a huge bonus, as he has been an enormous frustration this season. In 152 plate appearances, he has 19 runs, 6 home runs, 21 RBI, and a .254/.294/.430 slash line. He's not worth rostering anywhere right now.
